Well, I am back home. It was an exhausting but wonderful trip. Miss the adorable little kids at the Harambee Center already! I am so proud of how hard all of our youth worked. They make a difference! Can’t say that I’m a fan of charter bus rides, next time I hope to go back to driving. Good to be back to my bed and home and see Laddie and Kona again. Also loving Colorado water right now.

I love summer!
One of my favorite things in life are summer mornings! I love it when it is already warm outside when I get up at 6 a.m. I take my cup of tea out onto my deck and enjoy ten or fifteen minutes absorbing the sunshine and listening to the birds chirp and the sound of the waterfall in my backyard pond, watching my dog and cat wander around the yard. My whole day at goes better at work when I have this time in the morning.
Colorful Colorado
I have lived in Colorado for my entire adult life, since 1975. I love it here, plenty of blue sky and sunshine. And virtually no humidity, a definite plus after growing up in the Midwest. We have a climate where you can enjoy the great out of doors all twelve months of the year, personally I much prefer summer! Although I live in Fort Collins on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains, I try to get up into the mountains as often as I can. Myself, my children and my grandchildren all enjoy hiking and riding horses in the mountains.
